By the end of the course, delegates will be able to:

Develop a presentation, structured along agreed guide-lines,
for practical applications.

Use:
- Overhead projector
- Flipchart
- Video films
- Other audio visual equipment

Prepare him/herself and all materials to produce and deliver an
effective presentation.

Demonstrate to the course leader the achievement of
objectives 1 - 3.

Preparation self, information, notes, venue, equipment etc..

The structure of a persuasive presentation.

Delivery skills (including use of visual aids)

Generating and leading ensuing discussion.
Tutor led discussion, syndicate work, practical involvement and
practice presentations will all be included. (CCTV may be used)
One day
Presentation Skills 2
By the end of the course, delegates will be able to:

Enhance their current presentation skills by further practice
and personal delivery skills confidence.

Introduce other speakers in a professional manner and format.
-
Deal with difficult people in the audience better.
-
Generate and lead ensuing presentation discussion and questions.
-
Recognise their current training style and generate an action
plan to enhance/develop that style.

Review of day one (Presentation skills I)

What is my training style?

Dealing with people who have a negative impact on the group
-
How to introduce other speakers.

Handling questions and discussion.
-
Practice presentations - with plenary questions

Discussion and feedback.

Personal action plans.
NB:
ALL OF THE PREPARATION FOR PRACTICE PRESENTATIONS MUST BE
CARRIED OUT PRIOR TO THIS PROGRAMME - ie. NOTES AND VISUAL AIDS
ETC. THERE WILL LITTLE IF ANY TIME FOR PREPARATION ON THE DAY.
